Hello Professor Ryder,
I did in fact just return from Guoqing Jie vacation! I and about 5 or 6 other foreign teachers met in Xi'an and stayed at the amazing XiangziMen Youth Hostel. It's right in the downtown... short walking distance to all the major sites. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
Of course you may share the blog with your students. I want as many of them to come to China as possible!
